'Withdrawal needed' for Wood's release.

'Withdrawal needed' for Wood's release. :

"The Australian cleric working to free Australian hostage Douglas Wood in Iraq has called for coalition forces to leave the country."

Woods' release, the Iraqis' release, the soldiers' release, our release. We have all been held to ransom witht he situation in Iraq. Some of us cannot even imagine what it must be like to be there and it really doesn't matter if you are trying to bring peace, or trying to free your country, or you are trying to get free or you are trying to just survive. The whole thing is so destructive of everyone involved and too much for the country to have to tolerate. Every day more and more bombings, more and more people dead. Their people, our people, everybody's people. People are everything. Everyday. How many more have to die? How many more have to suffer? How much more do we have to take. It's time to stop and it seems the troops are beoming targets more and more and that it is harder for everyone to even think about what to do. Time to put the weapons away and talk and talk and talk. Rebuilding can't be done because it's too dangerous and it's another situation where the writing is on the wall and some big people are going to have to make some bigger and better decisions because plan A has gone completely awry.
