Yes, the whole situation is getting out of hand since it has all been privatised and become a free market. I use all enegy efficient lighting. For the first time ever my electricity is costing far more than my gas. The price of my electricity has doubled. It is crazy. I dread to think how some people are going to cope with winter bills. It'll be a choice between heating and eating. Utilities need to be affordable and reasonable and we should not be at the mercy of pricing for shareholders and profit.
