This is such a good idea. Firstly there is a sense that the best way to counteract criticism is to be innovative and inventive. We take our water very seriously in Adelaide , so to use well known local foodies to participate in a serious water tasting is such a great idea. It has that level of credibility but a typical Adelaide approach...there's a bit of a sense of fun. It is a very good way to promote water awareness and our local businesses and expertise. If we are going to be good at something, then let's be it and do it and water ought to be the thing we are damn good at. So gold stars and plus points for tackling our water woes head on and getting a good sense of perspective. Me? I have put a filter on my tap water and it's staying there. I reached saturation point last year after years of Adelaide water.
Secondly it is something we can add to and develop. As I said, if we are going to be experts, we might as well choose water because it is something which is so close to our hearts and something we are always criticized for. This approach will get us all involved and it will get more experts on board so in the end, our water will improve. I just love this idea. It is Adelaide.
