North and South Poles Warming

The polar ice caps are melting at a faster rate than previously thought so that now we are confronted with rising sea levels for which we are not prepared and vegetation is taking over where snow and ice once was. Vegetation absorbs heat. Two melting icecaps which ususally reflect heat are now going to absorb it. That'll help our current conditions! 10,000 scientists have been studying the melting icecaps. 10, 000 scientists have been giving us information and if 10, 000 scientists have been involved it has to be something of real significance to humanity. So , do you get the feeling our politicians have a sense of urgency? Do  you get the feeling that our leaders actually have taken any notice that we are in emergency conditions? Where is the crisis management, the response to emergency? Where are the serious, significant changes being brought in and where are the management plans for the interim. We are noticing. We are acting. They are just carrying on with other things and there is absolutely no indication they plan to actually do anything which will help our extreme climate conditions. Just as well they have their head in the sand because that is all we shall have. Didn't Nero fiddle while Rome burnt?
