Driver clocked at formula 1 speeds

The Australian: Driver clocked at formula 1 speeds :

"A MAN in a BMW has led police on a 109km chase – at speeds of up to 250km/h – in regional Victoria.

The pursuit began after officers saw the car travelling at up to 250km/h in a 110km/h zone at Avenel, in Victoria's north-east, shortly before midnight."

As long as he was getting into the spirit of the Grand Prix, why are the rest of us worried? Did his girlfriend enjoy the ride? Why don't they realise normal roads are not for Formula One and that normal cars are not built to take it really and did he actually think whether he might just kill himself and his girlfriend and any poor sould who might have been on that road? 109km is a long way to go before you get caught and I am not blaming the police. I just don't get it why these guys don't get it. The roads are for normal people doing normal driving. Why don't people get that anymore and they think if no one is looking and no one is there it's okay do do exactly as they feel? They have no survival mechanism, no social responsibility and simply click and go...at 250km per hour. I think those kinds of speeds should win some good prizes like no licence ever for the rest of your life and a security bracelet which can check if you are going at speed because no one is looking.
