Media Images

I have decided I shall make my own private stand about what is foisted before my eyes in the media. I am sick of violent, gruesome and ugly images. I am sick of tarty, trashy looks. That's me. I have had enough. My home. My values. Net sites are peppered with loathesome images . TV is full of them. Nothing wrong with taste and beauty. Nothing wrong with safe images when I am spending my time with the media. News reports are news reports . I can choose to watch those or not and even some of those appear to be doctored by all accounts. It has to be making us insensitive and it has to be impacting on us to be surrounded by ugly all the time. I have had it. So I am being more selective. I am protesting,I am emailing and I am telling people I don't want this vile and gross stuff in my face. There is no divine right to tell me what I am going to look at simply because I choose to engage with media in 2009.
