Teen punches two officers in face | The Australian
One officer had stitches for a cut under his right eye and suffered extensive bruising and swelling, while the other was treated for bruising, swelling and lacerations above his left eye.
Sounds like the teenager got in a couple of really good hits. What went wrong? Police are normally very good at defending themselves and can do so very effectively. Maybe police are going to have to wear face protection if they go into situations like that. Be better than having their faces rearranged. The guy was obviously a very good fighter. I think the police need to revise their tactics for situations like this because now there are 2 officers out of action because of one angry young man. Was outside a nightclub. What exactly led to this because maybe some earlier intervention would have helped. As it stands, he has done a lot of damage to himself as well...and it might have been worse by the sounds of it.
