Kokoda Track

Cancer survivor to take on Kokoda Track - ABC News
A young cancer survivor is one of two South Australians preparing to tackle the 96-kilometre Kokoda Track.

It's good to know we have male and female representatives taking part in the walk in the Kokoda Youth Leadership Challenge. Sounds like Skye's positive, cheerful attitude will help James Greenham who is pretty brave to be doing this after battling a brain tumour. He knows that would have prepared him for this but he sounds a bit nervous...so it will be great to see him come out at the other end and know that what he has already done in his young life at 21 is more than inspirational for the rest of us. Obviously he has a lot of courage and the walk will teach him not to doubt it. I wish both of them well and hope we get some news of them along the way. We focus far too much on the young ones behaving badly.
