Australia's pet peeves

Smelly know-it-alls the ultimate irritation | NEWS.com.au
SMELLY people, unstocked supermarket shelves and the office know-it-all are among the things that irritate Australians the most, a national survey has found.

We have a family who shops locally and they are really smelly. you can smell them for m the next aisle. you wonder why. Don't tehy notice? They live in a house so presumably they have running water. We can and do keep our distance because the pong is unbearable...but the check out operators must be hard pressed to stiffel the stench and crry on. I admire them. You cannot make a law to enforce hygiene but there must be something we can do. tell them they are stinky? We are hopeless because we don't know how to deal with it. At work it becomes the bosses job and I do not envy them because it is hard to tell someone they smell.i guess it's an unwritten rule with the rest of us that we keep ourselves clean..and want to. You can sweat a fair bit in our weather so body odour and stale sweat are not very popular here.
