ABC2 has picked up a lot of ground, the more so because it had such good coverage of the paralympics which had a pretty solid following. Many people found it even more inspiring and touching than the Olympic Games. Even though the athletes were there to represent ther coutnries , people were getting involved in their stories and it became an inspiration in a world where we very rarelypay tribute to human courage and spirit. We focus far too much on the negative, nasty and nebulos. then ABC2 covers a lot of good music and so we have adopted it for that. it has some good alternatives to mainstream TV watching. I am not surprised people have woken up to it.
