Live bird smuggler gets pets killed : "An airline passenger has been busted trying to smuggle two live birds into Australia, customs officials say."
I really dislike people who smuggle live things. It's cruel and invariably, like these two birds, they end up dead. It is thoughtless. It shows no concern for our fellow creatures and it comes from very self serving ideas. Animals and birds are dependent and under these circumstances they are ripped from their environment and stuffed into something. These two birds were put down by customs because animals and birds from outside the country have to be quarantined. If he cared about these birds so much he could have brought them in in the correct manner. I don't understand why he did this. It just seems so pointless...but to stuff live birds into your bag is unthinkable. I think he should be stuffed in a bag and flown back to Singapore....okay,all right, just charged , fined and never allowed back.
