Last week we had the fake doctor(s) in Queensland operating on people and killing at least 5:

Lessons from Dr Death

now we have the fake builders. We seem to have a resurgence of charlatans and we need to put our boundaries in place and look out for ourselves. If credentials can be faked we are going to have to rely on word of mouth. This could disadvantage some very genuine practitioners of whatever trade...but who wants to be operated on by a fake doctor or hire a fake builder? The results can be quite dire. We never were a nation of charlatans. Well, that's something to talk about!
