And now he has won a gold medal at the Beijing Games. He is brilliant and yet, inspite of his strong web presence, there is no photo of him on his profile. At 26 , he is not only a very talented athlete, he is totally at home in our technological environment and has a good online presence. I was so glad he won. I wondered what on earth was going on with the javelin throwers. They were full of bizarre antics and behaviours to say the least then out came Andreas...who behaved in a totally normal way and just threw the javelin without all the stuff and nonsense...and he won. I am glad he won. He was awesome!!
