I guess wwe want one job. We seem to be doing several including our own clerical and clerical aide work. Multitasking gone mad because professionals are spending less time with the professional side of their work and more and more time on menial tasks and documentation. Then there are the hours. Inflexible. We need to look at the structure of our day because most of us have interests which are absorbing and want to be able to pursue them and it doesn't matter what age we are. We are skilled but we are being used for brain numbing tasks. Then there is the delegation thing where people in high places believe handing on vague ideas which they haven't sorted out the detail on is called delegating.passing on fresh air. The Dilbert thing of the harder you work, the more I earn. We want job satisfaction and time to breathe.
