Heatwave record for Adelaide

AdelaideNow... Heatwave record for Adelaide - over 35C for nine days straight: "ADELAIDE has set a heatwave record, with the mercury rising above a scorching 35C for the ninth day in a row - and there's worse to come."

Been there before . We just get hot, dry and bothered. We are debating whether there will be a natural break or whether it'll co inside with agreeing to GM crops which we are currently resisting for obvious reasons. I know, not rational btu we tend to think like that when we are hot. We try and find a bargaining position because our brains are melted. Some people get far too giggly and over cheerful from the stress of it. Others just wimp away and wilt a lot. Others pretend it is not occurring. People use it as a reason..well, excuse for not doing what they ought to...but we need to go slowly and then when the weather changes we'll be totally useless. Absolutely. A lot of people are just going to the beach on a permanent basis. Others are hiding out indoors and then there are those who just carry on as near to normal as possible. It's stifling. There have been storms and rain up north and we want rain. We want water. We are getting very angry we cannot water. At least we could manage to cool off as we watered our gardens. Air conditioning? Yes, we have that but it is not the same as water. We shouldn't really be so surprised. SA is hot and always has been. Me? I don't do cold so I am happy!!
