Concern as sewage enters floodwaters

Concern as sewage enters floodwaters : "'We would advise people to still avoid floodwaters if they can.''"

Much of Queensland is flooded. Some people didn't get supplies and just had to manage and I am not sure if all areas have access to clean, drinkable water and it is important to us to know that the people in Queensland are okay...that they have enough food, equipment and water to manage. We were talking about it at the end of last week because they seems t have had to manage this by themselves and maybe they don't realise we have been sitting here keeping in contact with friends and relatives if we can and we realise it's pretty serious. So we have expected to be called for help. We are more than prepared to get the donations going but it is important that the stuff is flown in to the people. I realise that it easier said than done in some places because of the weather and extend of flooding. We are thinking of all our Queensland friends and please let us help you if you need help. Insurance may not cover the damage because policies don't cover flood by and large...and yet it's one of the things which'll take your home here. They may need help down the track.
