India yet to decide on fate of tour

India yet to decide on fate of tour : "The Indian cricket team has confirmed it will not make the contentious move of pulling out of the Australian tour."

Quite frankly I think it would be better for the whole thing to be stopped and for the players to go on extended leave until the next Test...or even next year... if this whole thing cannot be thrashed out in an intelligent , adult fashion. At the moment there is a lot of heat and anger and obviously a list of unresolved issues. Anger blows up and is always hung on some hook or another. The reason for the anger between the teams needs to be established and it ought to be about resolving the issues. So what do these guys need on both sides so they can get on with the Test? If they can't...stop it because the game is bigger than this and more and more people are getting hot under the collar and the upshot will be big time damage to a great sport. Better to gain some time, distance and dignity if it cannot be resolved quickly. They need a couple of good psychologists on board, a decent mediator, plenty of footage and a belief that they all joined up to play Test cricket. Oh yes, we are all on about the hoo ha, but what about the sport?
