Drain survivor 'was completely drunk'

Drain survivor was completely drunk: "The 27-year-old had been spray-painting with a 25-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman in the drain at Maroubra when a storm hit the area about 7:00pm ."

You'd think that by 27 they'd be over it - graffiti and storm water drains. Even the 2 younger ones you'd think would be over it...and sadly they are because they did not survive the surf and water in the storm water drain. It is a sad and awful way for young people to lose their lives because you'd think they'd be doing something better. Apparently young kids are in the drain every weekend and that is something, again , which seems to have a fascination for kids...storm water drains. Most know not to go there when the rain is about or the surf is up.But these people were not kids, not chronologically speaking. The 27 year old is alive because of a responsible and quick thinking 17 year old who got the help of his father . They saved him...drunk and all. He has lost his friends and for what? Graffiti? He needs all the help he can get, this guy...and the 17 year old needs a big hug and kiss for being such a great human being.
