John Howard a 'shining example'

John Howard a 'shining example' : "'The Australian prime minister, John Howard, is even further behind than you are ... yet he has gone to the country in apparently good cheer, making a brave appeal to the voters: 'Love me or loathe me the Australian people know where I stand on all the major issues'.'"

This is so not true. Mr. Howard kept us hanging about like the proverbial stale bottles and now it seems like Ground Hog day. He had to call an election and he just kept hanging on. I suspect someone told him to get a wriggle on. He has been in power a long time...Gordon Brown has just taken over and is getting a feel for it all, especially after the baffling behaviour of Mr. Blair...so don't use Mr. Howard as an example except of power without height!
