Greens to audit every home

Greens to audit every home : "THE Greens have unveiled a $22 billion plan to improve the energy efficiency of every Australian home. Under the scheme, every home would be subject to an energy audit and then retrofitted with energy-saving devices, including solar hot water systems, insulation and low-flow shower heads."

This makes such good sense because we are in the position to be able to use renewable energy but we have to get everyone on the same page, so to speak. Getting a baseline for every home is a start and this is a plan which is achievable and will then contribute to a sustainable future. It includes everyone. If the fitting of basic energy cutting devices is also organised for those people who have no idea how to go about doing it, then it's areal step forward to a sustainable future which we are all participating in. I hope this idea is picked up no matter who winds the elections because it's so constructive.
