Ewe beaut day for Hu

Ewe beaut day for Hu as he praises Labour PMs : "Earlier in President Hu's day, a flock of bewildered sheep found themselves on display when he visited a property in the NSW Southern Tablelands as part of his whirlwind tour."

You have to wade through all the clap trap to get to the fact that President Hu went to one of our sheep stations and this is what Apec should be about...appreciating and valuing the host country as well as engaging in negotiations and round table discussions about critical and worthwhile issues relevant to the region. Our sheep farms can be bigger than countries. We can run thousands and thousands of sheep, but you still get the scones and jam and the shearers have to work really hard to shear our sheep. The Chinese have historically added to our farming here in our country and so it is appropriate their president should share that link with us and then see what we run on! It is why the drought can be so devastation. We are not tiny farms. We are massive sheep stations. It can be so hard on our farmers but it is how the Chinese help us in the mining era when our men mined and we couldn't grow food as well, so there is a natural affinity there we need to promote and feed.
