Future of Glenside site questioned : "The South Australian Government has declined to rule out selling all or part of the Glenside hospital site in Adelaide's south-eastern suburbs."
Glenside has been allowed to run down. It is not a welcoming environment, but the gardens are beautiful. The staff there cope so well given the conditions. As a hospital it would need a revamp and complete modernisation to come up to scratch and to become a 2007 facility for the mentally ill. It is on prime land. Really prime land. What do you think? They'll sell it and put the mentally ill and their carers elsewhere.
