Teenagers first generation less healthy than parents

Teenagers first generation less healthy than parents | : "They say the so-called Peter Pan generation - teens who live at home longer - are suffering a health crisis fuelled by the abuse of alcohol, tobacco, drugs and an increase in obesity and sexually transmitted diseases."

Yes, the kids who have everything have a life that is based on spurious building blocks. Materialism isn't all it's cracked up to be and the haves are lacking the one thing they need...health. Well, it's all about choices. We chose to let this happen and they are choosing to continue it. Doesn't matter. They can just keep texting, talking , watching their DVDs and eating the manufactured food options. I am sure it'll all go away if they ignore it. Mind you, I actually met a young boy of 14 the other day and he was riding his bike, eating a banana and did not have a mobile phone. He and his mates were having a whale of a time without the trendy options and looked so fit and well. They live on this street and it's a real pleasure to talk to them and see their family do normal family things. They go on fishing trips, take off down the coast, get the grand parents down and go off on picnics and spend time with their friends at the shack on the coast and go to the footy on a Saturday. They actually find electronic stuff boring!!
