Sudanese women want to go home

AdelaideNow... Sudanese women want to go home: "'They don't listen to the parents and if you threaten the children, they say they will call the police,' she said.

'Boys are not taking any notice of men and even girls are now starting to move out of the house at 15 or 16; in Africa there was not much freedom.'"

I have always been in awe of Sudanese parents. They just look at their children and there is a sense of control. Nothing hostile. Nothing aggressive. Just a look. If their children have come here and learned to abuse their parents...what have we offered them and what have they learned? Disrespect. I am very embarrassed that this is what they have gained from coming to Australia.
