When I was on my Yahoo email account last night I changed it to the new , beta version and I have to say it's a very smooth interface which is more consistent with the upcoming new year of 2007. I really enjoyed the change over because they had a little talkster/speakster who came and showed you how to do it and then, at the end, he threw a party for you!! It was just so nice, like in the old web days where we were all coming online and it was like a real party atmosphere and the websites were really popping and everything was so festive and fun. We've lost a lot of that play aspect on the Net and the genuine capacity to engage with a site and enjoy yourself at the same time. I actually appreciated the effort Yahoo went to to give me this little talkster guy. I haven't seen a talkster for years since I was on Native Web, which is a brilliant site, incidentally, and they introduced the notion of talksters and there was a Native American Woman talkster you could download and she was really cool and caused quite a sensation, at the time, with my friends and family. She was certainly the talk of the town!!. I wish they'd make more of them. They are fun!!
