Govt pressured to identify GM-tainted canola.:

"A new case of pure canola seeds being contaminated by genetically modified (GM) varieties is putting pressure on the Victorian Government to find the source of the contaminations.

Incidents have occurred in Victoria and Western Australia, and last week in South Australia."

It's the cross contamination which is the problem and unless you grow GM plants in closed areas where they cannot cross contaminate, then you do end up with GM food whether you want it or not. That has been made clear and public so if it has been ignored we are going to have to be very thorough. Nothing supports feeding people GM food. Read the reports. They are not alarmist. The facts are more than enough. But this is another case where the cross contamination will take any right to decide out of our hands and then we shall have GM food whether we agree with it or not and GM food is NOT nutritious and does cause problems and ...I'll spare you. You've seen the programmes and read the articles. Like plastic bags it is a dumb idea. Food which goes in people's mouths should be of the highest quality and natural. It's for organic beings. Maybe GM food will suit the humanoids which are around the corner.
