Well, the English woke up this morning and remembered they can bowl...really bowl. Flintoff was so happy when he scored Ponting's wicket, and why not? It has been great to see the English get on with it and provide some of the style and energy of which they are capable. The better weather might be helping, afterall this is supposed to be sunny Australia!!! We've had big numbers at the Melbourne match but we've had huge numbers watching this test too. Poeple want a break. We can't shop ALL the time. It's nice to sit with people and watch the cricket and it was just so fantastic to sit there Boxing Day after we had had a lovely Christmas and see Shane Warne get that 700th wicket...and more. Good on the English for bouncing back and coming out to play really well today. It's not surprising the Ashes has been popular. It's been a really good match to watch.

The Ashes
