White Christmas and dinner in tent

Scotsman.com News - UK - White Christmas and dinner in tent as servicemen close in on South Pole:

"Marine Craig Hunter, 28, from Kilmarnock, tucked into Christmas pudding, chocolate sauce and a bottle of champagne as he paused during an epic 70-day 1,500-mile march to the Pole."

He comes form Kilmarnock and is trekking to the South Pole with his friends. They are getting thinner and colder but still have the spirit of Christmas with them and were able to eat Christmas dinner. They are towing everything on sleds. It's astounding how brave and adventurous some people are and how they want to pioneer. Once he has returned home he will probaly have to go and serve in Afghanistan so Marine Craig Hunter must be Clyde built!! Thnak heavens for satellite phones though because at least these men can keep in touch. Such an amazing story!
