SA Govt urged to combine RAH and QEH.

SA Govt urged to combine RAH and QEH.: "'I'll just be grateful that the government is prepared to invest this sort of money in the health system, but would just ask that they engage the profession completely in the process and making sure that things work as they should be, and we address the needs of the community,' he said."

Not having a hospital in the central part of the city could be devasting and discriminatory. I hope they do dicuss it with everyone, epsecially those working in the RAH and the QEH. Woodville is not as easily accesible to the general public nor is it a good idea not to have a hospital in the city. The RAH is a hub. It's always busy and it's always buzzing. To take it away would impact significantly on city living and city life. Yes, look at how it can be used and how the QEH can be used and make health a priority. It doesn't come cheaply but amalgamating into one hospital is not the best idea to come out. Further informed discussion is well and truly warranted.
