The Ashes

English team slammed by British media :

"England's dramatic defeat in the second Ashes Test prompted a chorus of discontent from the British media lamenting a return to the dark old days."

I love the Wombats vs. Wombles headlines. Hilarious. Love it. I woke up to this English Ashes team bashing this morning. Our commentaters were discussing it on the news and seemed a bit perturbed, and I tell you, it really woke me up! Okay, they have lost two tests so far. So what? They have been playing brilliantly, the English. They have worked hard. Dropped catch? Like we never do that? Have the English bashers actually looked at some of their stats for these matches? Don't run these guys down. They are playing a great game against a great side and Australia is having to work damn hard at getting itself ahead. Especially with Langer and you know who, who seem to be doing weird things. You never knock your team when they are behind. That's when they need you to get in there and rally. England cannot lose the test that no one can lose because it hasn't been played yet. Australia is a tough side. So is England. So get over it, get real and get onside.
