OECD test ignores spelling and grammar :

"THE international OECD test cited as proof that Australian students have one of the highest literacy rates in the world does not test spelling and grammar."

Well, I'm impressed. We really are a stupid world at the moment. Terrified of skills, fearing opinion, incapable of confronting excellence and so proud of the mediocrity which breeds standardisation.
