HIV, sex not linked, 'experts' tell court

AdelaideNow... HIV, sex not linked, 'experts' tell court:

"The case is being closely monitored by state and federal health officials, who are concerned it could undermine more than two decades of public education about the need to practice safe sex"

Whatever the courts decide, the courts decide, but we, the public practically choked on our lunch today trying to discuss this. It was the talk of the town, that's for sure, because the experts have been very careful to make us properly informed about AIDS both so that we can protect ourselves, but also so that we have a capacity to deal with people with AIDS intelligently. We were wondering why all the money and time on all those campaigns and why peope would try to disprove something when it has been central to our wellbeing for 20 years. We plain cannot afford to get this wrong because the break throughs have been considerable and the community is as one on this . It would turn a total community effort on its head, so it does have to be monitored and interpreted.
