Scotsman.com Australian prison ship to hold illegal fishermen:

This has always been the argument and it's rather thin. We do need to protect our borders because if you fly over Australia you understand it is massive. Humungous. But we do not have a consistent, humane approach to border patrol. Our government doesn't even care David Hicks is in Guantanomo Bay and they have judged him to be guilty. Why would they care about anyone else? A floating prison would seem to be palatial accomodation to a governmetn which endorses Guantanomo Bay.
