Human chain helps save heritage

The Advertiser: Human chain helps save heritage :

"Naracoorte residents staged an overnight vigil to ensure the town's former Sisters of Mercy Catholic convent was not demolished after the Naracoorte Lucindale Council approved developers plans."

Our heritage is being bulldozed with not even a thought. I am so glad the Naracoorte people have got onto this convent. Things happen so fast. One of our oldest houses was bulldozed on the day it was approved to be heritage listed. We are nothing but Legoland and it is awful. We have no regard for our heritage. It's horrible to be in a state where our old buildings are not treasured at all. Money, money, money.
