Govt opens marine mammal centre to help save the whales.

Govt opens marine mammal centre to help save the whales. :

"The facility will bring together 20 groups of scientists from around the country to deliver the best advice on strategic marine mammal conservation and management issues, and create Australia's first internationally competitive research hub on marine mammals."

It's a great idea and given it will utilise the knowledge and skills of so many scientists then it is a wonderful working model for the regeneration of our commitment to our marine life. So many of us value our oceans and our ocean life. So many Austrlaians have a lifestyle based on our ocean life. It is good to get a sound understanding of our marine life in the current times. Whale watching, in particular, has been something inspirational here and to get to know our whales better will only inspire us more to stay in good contact with them.
