Feds seek tougher cannabis laws

Feds seek tougher cannabis laws :

"Flanked by state and territory ministers in Perth, federal parliamentary secretary for health Christopher Pyne said the national strategy on cannabis would target production, supply and use, and focus on reducing the public acceptability of the drug."

A lot of people do see it as okay and don't think there is a problem and that it is to be expected, especially with the young. I am always a lone voice. I am the one who is mad because I do not endorse it especially the new type which is a lot stronger and is creating so many problems with people's minds. Our young ones get into dire straits overseas because of our attitude here and that is so very unfortunate. Changing public opinion is probably about getting better information out there about what we are dealing with, what the effects are and why it's undesirable. We hit smokers really hard but we do little to combat the use of drugs and alcohol. No sense in one section of the community being concerned if the bulk of people cannot see the problem.
