Eye treatment could replace surgery:
"A SIMPLE treatment using Vitamin B2 and ultraviolet light could replace major corneal transplant surgery for Australian patients in a revolutionary eye treatment trial."
This treatment has been effective in all the patients randomly chosen to trial it. B2 and ultraviolet light sounds too simple to be true , but ti works and thank heavens people have been ever creative in their research. It means the eyesight of around 50, 000 Australians can be saved. It prevents the cornea from changing shape and therefore the surgery becomes unnecessary. Good news, indeed.
