The Winter Olympic opening ceremony is due to start here in just over an hour. I am really looking forward to it and I think Italy will be a great venue for the Olympics. The Italians here are already getting excited it will be coming from their home country. It does make a difference when you have some way of relating to the venue either yourself or through other people. My personal favourites are the ice skating, speed skating, ski jumping, bob sledding and ice dancing...does that sound like most of it? It's a bit of a fairy land the Winter Olympics...so let the winter wonderland begin.
