Foundation rejects drug dog use in schools.

Foundation rejects drug dog use in schools. :

"'At the end of the day young people are going to make up their mind because drugs are rarely available,' he said.

'Sniffer dogs detecting a few in schools or anywhere else is not going to stop and change the fact that drugs are available and some young people will experiment with them.'"

Ask the students. Ask the parents. Ask the police. Ask New Zealand, I believe they have used sniffer dogs in their schools. Sniffer dogs are a pretty low key way of dealing with people carrying drugs and like at the airport, it's part of the community education programme. Ask. We have to do something more positive so our young ones don't end up in overseas gaols or come back in coffins. This is serious.
