Europe might freeze

The Australian: Scientists probing a dying current bring worst climate fears to the surface :

"Last week Lord Robert May, used his final address as president of the Royal Society, Britain's pre-eminent science organisation, to warn of the consequences of inaction. 'Climate change is undeniably real, caused by human activities, and has serious consequences,' he said."

This article is well orth the read and not too difficult to grasp. British scientists have been studying the currents in the Atlantic and in the Arctic. They have looked at the changes in the Carribean and the ice shelves. They have looked at the effects on the Gulf Stream and to cut a long scientific probe insultingly short:

"Now we find that while the rest of the world might be baking, Britain and Europe will freeze. How can both be true?"

Thaey have indeed got the information to show why and how Europe is freezing and the rest of us are warming up. Hooray for scientists. But...it's the way we are living which is disturbing and accelerating natureal patterns. So, yes, I rest my case. We need to get our bottoms into gear, unite as a planet and sort this out. We can't be so stupid as to leave it unattended??
