Petrol almost ran out

The Advertiser: Petrol almost ran out :

"The situation has raised serious concerns about the reliability of the state's unleaded petrol supply. Adelaide came close to running out of unleaded, with stocks dropping to critical levels."

They kept that one pretty quiet! Had it run out what would they have said? We get our petrol from Singapore now. They closed our refinery. Why it's not being shifted elsewhere, who knows. Where it is , is beautiful and nothing has happened to it. I expect to see it sold and all these flashy houses put up because the coastline is spectacular where the refinery was. It should never have been built there. We have plenty of industrial areas on the water front. We cannot be independent and secure if our petrol is coming from overseas. That is silly.
