The Advertiser: Drivers ignore phone dangers :
"Latest police figures show 11,399 motorists have been caught – with 9812 fined and 1587 cautioned – between January 2003 and June 2005."
Good because it is so dangerous. There really is no need to be on the phone while sriving and there have been so many accidents. It's just common sense. I have seen plenty of people pull over to take and make calls. I can't believe they have to, but still, I am not that attached to my mobile phone. It's crazy and driving is one thing which needs all your concentration. As soon as those phones ring, people think they have to answer them. During meetings, lunches, driving..they can be turned off!! They come with an off button.
