In this evil, scheming world we are none of us equipped to deal with anything. We just do the best we can on the day. Our best shot is to get emergency procedures up to scratch, to work out some strategies for dealing with plagues, locusts, warfare, bombs, explosions, gas, hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, acid rain, mustard gas, cyanide, radioactive fall out...not much really. Probably a few bandages, an ambulance or two. The world is mad. There are nutters in the world. We are not inadequate because we can't deal with the madness. To revolve our lives around it feeds it. We just need to train different groups with all sorts but we also need to get our brains onto the job, to try and suss these people out. Think. Think. Think. Data is not information. Information is not knowledge and knowledge is not wisdom. If we have an implementation dip with regard to countering whatever it is that we may be attacked with, then a clairvoyant or two might not go astray. In 2005 we have the unsafest world anyone has lived in. Why is that?
