Thousands take part in Amy's Ride

Thousands take part in Amy's Ride :

"The inaugural Amy's Ride in and around Geelong today was a stunning success, with the charity event attracting 3000 cyclists and raising around $50,000."

Friends, family and the husband of Amy Gillett can take heart int he fact that so many people turned out for this inaugural fund raising ride. Some of her team mates are still recovering from that accident, but were there to cheer others on. This is a great community effort. The ride will be an annual event to raise moeny for road safety and an annual cycling scholarship. For the people close to Amy is was understandably a very emotional day, but they were able to enjoy a great feeling of success because they had the support of so many people. People are everything.
