The cathedral in New Caledonia is a big walk uphill from the city centre. Well worth it. The coffee shop I adopted had a pond with the most massive fish and beautiful tropical plants (and great coffee!) The blue building is part of the market. It had five blue buildings : one for fish, two for fruit and veg; one for the Buvette and local artists and another one for fish and salad which I didn't quite get the hang of. Great idea to have the markets right on the harbour and with a building dedicated to each type of food. The patisserie and viennoiserie were in with the fruit and the meat was in an undercover area outside.
