Money, money, money

The Australian: Uni costs among world's highest [April 16, 2005]:

When will we learn? Money does not mean brains. Have exclusive, high fee paying unis if you wish but educate and train our brains. I can't believe people get to uni on the basis of their capacity to pay fees. They had another survey whcih I blogged about earlier showing state school kids do better at uni than private school kids, so why all the emphasis on money? We need people who can think!
