Dob in a hoon

"He said car enthusiasts would not be unfairly targeted for driving flashy vehicles. "Quite simply, if you drive your vehicle within the limits of the law, if you obey road rules, if you behave in a responsible manner, then you are not going to come to the notice of the police," he said."
Will we dob them in? Have we had enough? You hear them around here about 3 am. The revving and loud engines wake you up. That's new to me. So they are determined and have a need for speed and noise. Apparently, according to the article, they shut one road down, poured oil, had their fun and drew quite a crowd. This is a public road. If it is that popular let them have a section of somewhere out in woop woop but accessible from the city and let them go for it. If they kill themselves , well, better than killing others. I don't like that thought. They do not have reasonable boundaries and so we cannot offer a reasonable alternative. There must be some solution where they can engage in this daft behaviour, have their fun, make money from it and leave the rest of us alone. Maybe it's the bullying aspect of it which appeals...the lawbreaking, thumbing the nose at the community. Mayhem and a really good game of uproar...and proving we cannot deal with it. Testing the boundaries. It would have to be a community effort. By now, the community must be fed up being dictated to.
