Mr Caldera, a former Army secretary, took responsibility for the Air Force flyover that sparked panic in New York on April 27.
In Adelaide we were all aghast at the stupidity and cruelty of this act. I am sure more than one person is responsible for this nasty scenario. There are no excuses. We were horrified. Not a single person along the way thought to stop it. Not one. Not even the pilot. Why not? It is not excusable or explainable and sacrificing one person over this will not make it any better. It was insane ,vindictive and cruel and I hope the people of New York felt the the level of care and concern we had here in Adelaide on that day. New York probably doesn't even think we would care....well, now they know.
