I am impressed. The plight of our river has been sung loud and clear at every opportunity today. Information, live hot spot visits, information, reflection. The Mighty Murray is calling for our help and we have heard it loud and clear. We are still divided as to whether we get the weir going, dredge the channel or leave it to rainfall. Rainfall didn't work last year and we have never been this dry. We need to keep the spotlight on it and we need to keep these animated conversations going. Goolwa is angry and so it ought to be. They have done it hard and suffered enough. We need to keep talking and debating and pushing this to the front until we reach the point of critical mass where we get all this information out and before us and shaped finally into our decision. We have heart ached enough. We have researched and soul searched enough. Now we need to keep it on the table, we need to keep rummaging through it and one day soon now, there will be our decision and we can move on. It may not be what we want but it will be a decision which we can live with and which will help us to grow again. Right now we are all dried up and angry.
