Green shoes! What a great idea for saving the planet and something we can all do. Even given the fact we are a school uniform nation I am certain there is a way we can look at uniforms, school or not, and come up with environmentally friendly alternatives and clothes and footwear we can recycle. That would truly be manageable and a way of delivering a message to companies that we want to wearing things which help us and our planet. Some environmentally friendly clothing is very expensive, but we need to look at that too because it should not be a trendy option for the well lined wallet. I'd really like to see this happen and starting on the shoes would be and easy option because it would remind us to be aware of our carbon footprints.
And until we get our carbon friendly feet into action, in the meantime you can use your lunch box banana peel to polish your shoes!!
